HISUI HIROKO ITOは、「着ること＝考えること」を軸に、構造・数字・かたちをテーマとする日本のファッションブランドです。

和服に由来する平面構造と、西洋の立体裁断を融合させたパターン設計によって、構築的でありながら自由な着心地を追求。2way・3wayの可変性、ユニセックスなシルエットも特徴で、動きと共に表情を変えるデザインは、思考や感情、時間の流れと共鳴します。

すべてのアイテムは日本国内で生産され、カーボンニュートラルを意識したサステナブルなものづくりを実践。服そのものが“構造的メディア”となり、新たな視点や感覚を喚起することを目指しています。

HISUI HIROKO ITO is a Tokyo-based fashion label that treats “to wear is to think.”
Exploring the themes of structure, numbers, and form, the brand fuses the planar elegance of traditional Japanese kimono with Western tailoring, creating garments that are both architectural and effortless.

Each piece is designed to transform with the body’s movement—featuring modular silhouettes, unisex adaptability, and 2–3 way wearability. These shifting forms mirror the circulation of time, thought, and emotion.

Proudly made in Japan, the collections embrace a sustainable, carbon-conscious production ethos. HISUI proposes fashion as a structural medium—an invitation to see, think, and live differently.

デザイナー｜Designer Profile

伊藤 弘子 / Hiroko Ito

ファッションデザイナー・アーティスト。ニューヨークのFashion Institute of Technology（FIT）で学び、コム デ ギャルソンにて経験を積んだ後、2000年に自身のブランド「HISUI」を設立。

近年は、数字をテーマにした《数字を纏う》シリーズを展開。衣服を通して構造・哲学・身体性を探る作品を発表している。
東京都現代美術館の展覧会「オバケとパンツとお星様」などアートプロジェクトにも参加。大田区大森で家業の海苔問屋を継ぎながら、地域文化を育む活動も精力的に行う。
現在、ドレスメーカー学院講師。デザイナー歴25年。

Hiroko Ito is a fashion designer and artist based in Tokyo.
After studying at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York and gaining experience at COMME des GARÇONS, she launched her own brand HISUI in 2000.

Her work blends fashion with conceptual structure—most notably through the “Wearing Numbers” series, which visualizes abstract ideas like circulation and time through innovative garment patterns.

Ito’s practice crosses into contemporary art, including participation in the exhibition “Ghosts, Underpants and Stars” at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (MOT). She also runs a family seaweed wholesaling business in Ōta, Tokyo, where she contributes to revitalizing local culture.
Currently a lecturer at Dressmaker Gakuin. Celebrating 25 years as a designer.
